The Planting Dates tab covers USDA zones 3 through 11 with frost dates pre-loaded. For the UK, EU, Australia, South Africa or anywhere else, you enter your own last-frost and first-frost dates and the calculator works the same way. No region lock. Hemisphere toggle flips all dates for southern-hemisphere users.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You buy once, you get a license key, your data lives in your browser. No email verification loops, no password resets. If you want to back up your plan, use the export button and save the file somewhere you trust.

What happens to my garden plan if I stop paying?

Nothing. You don't keep paying. One payment, lifetime access. Your plan is yours. Contrast that with GrowVeg and the Almanac planner, where skipping a renewal locks your layouts.

Are the yield estimates accurate?

They're estimates based on extension-service averages (Maryland, Cornell, Utah State, Texas A&M), not magic. Actual yield depends on your soil, water, weather, pests, and luck. The tool gives you a realistic planning number so you don't over-plant or under-plant.

Yes. The 153 pairings are sourced from university extensions and peer-reviewed allelopathy studies, with a short mechanism note on every entry. Folklore-only claims with no evidence are excluded.

How is the growing plan created?

Accepted Answer

From your inputs: family size, hardiness zone, crops, garden space, sun exposure, soil, and experience. The plan returns a month-by-month schedule, bed layouts, succession timing, and yield estimates. What's the refund policy?

48 hours after purchase, no questions asked, for technical failure or accidental duplicate purchases. The checkout runs through LemonSqueezy, who process the refund within a few business days.
